This a Re-mix with a new vocal of "All I Need Is your Photograph"
I wrote this song about my girl friend at the time. When I look back on it, it seems I saw her way to little. I ended up living over an hour away from her when I took a new job. Her picture helped me get through that time away.

Not sure what to make of this. It's very original. The timing between the vocal and the backing is curious but seems to work. Lyrics are a bit on the cheesy side. Has a slightly 50s-60s sort of feel to it.
It wasn't me! (well, actually, it probably was) - apparently now an 'elderly' so maybe I forgot!

Thanks for the input, I like to play the Blues on the piano, that may be where that 50s 60s kind of sound is coming from. I'm not sure myself, but I have heard that before in some of my older songs. I haven't heard that in a while. I've tryed to shake that sound because to me it's sounds like I'm outdated, I'll keep on trying, I think. I'm just not sure if it's liked or not, it being 2012, 50 to 60s years later.
Thank again, Terry

This is a link to a different song called "She Loves You." Did you paste in the wrong link?SilverBeat wrote:I had some one on FaceBook tell me that he viewed the song as nothing more than a Demo. I must be fooling myself. looking for some help

Sounds like the 60ies... Not my favorite style, but it has an interesting 60ies flavor. If I would have heard this without any information, I would have thought that it's a song from 1965 or so...
Don't be too discouraged. Time will come when music styles from the past will be brought back to life again...

Most people in this forum are doing what could roughly be called "electronic music" so you may not find many takers here. I think you might find more collaborators or like minded musicians here: http://www.gearslutz.com/board/songwriting/SilverBeat wrote:I looking to work with a Guitar and bass player. BTW, I've just read that you are a fan of The Beatles... That explains everything... You need some other (singing) guys and a sound-of-wall-producer like Phil Spector...
I love The Beatles, too, they've made real dance music, and I love their songwriting...

I'm a guitarist and bassist, but my guitars and basses are all very low- and drop-tuned, so I'm not too optimistic that I'd be of help... can't remember when I last used the Clean channel on my 6505.
I don't work here, I just feed the trolls.
