Only a cat can demand food literally within seconds of throwing up the last lot it ate, and #2 cat Fudge did it twice this morning.
It sounded like she was dying on the landing the first time, but as soon as I dashed upstairs she headed for the empty kibble bowl to let me know she'd eaten the last of them then went straight back to the now full bowl after throwing up the second time. Cleaning up half digested food wasn't my idea of fun either, but that paled against the *present* a obviously upset tum had made her leave in her personal litter tray in the junk room. The stench took my breath away..........and very nearly took my breakfast away as well when I went to empty it down the loo. I don't know what she's been eating, but I sincerely hope there's no more knocking about. The only good thing about all this was it didn't happen after I'd had a few drinks the night before. ---- RIP Black Tom and Beckett. They weren't just cats, they were MY cats, the best cats ever. |

Haha, I totally recognize that As of late, Merle loves ripping cardboard boxes to shreds: (note how much of the side she's already ripped away in the second pic) |

@Ian: I had to chuckle when you were describing Fudge as my two little stinkers are like that. Puke it up........beg for food......turds! @Merle: haha! Wow, I hope there is nothing terribly important that that has happened to! |

Her digestive system/bowels defy belief at times, not least because she occasionally hangs her arse over the side of the litter trays. Bad enough having to empty a turd from hell out of a tray, it's even worse having to scrape one off a carpet, especially when she's had a touch of the squits.---- RIP Black Tom and Beckett. everything you say there sounds familiar to me, Ian, last few days i've been cleaning up liquid poo and vomit. oh, and a carcass, after a night of trying to get some sleep while my cats chased a very vocal mouse around.
and paterpeter: one of mine used to do that to books. |
