Just to clarify.
The KVR user "Katzenjammer" is not guilty of anything. He had googled for RayBlaster after it was announced in this Saurus thread (or rather some info was pasted from Tone2's Twitter) and the search just grabbed the reference to the mp3 demo on my server (all because it had 'RayBlaster in the file name). It is entirely my fault for having incorrect permission to the file and/or having 'RayBlaster' name referenced in the mp3 file. Nobody should accuse other users when they search for information pertaining to a newly announced plugin. It's only natural to want to know more. |

Hi,
there seems to be an updated demo version of Saurus with 20 minutes timeout (10 minutes before): http://www.tone2.org/forum/index.php?topic=1285.0 from the forum: "We extended the demo timeout of the Saurus demo to 20 min and removed the voice reminder. We added 14 additional sounds which should show the 'analog' capatibilities of the Saurus. The installer on Mac is now signed with a certificate and passes Gatekeeper. It also includes some minor fixes." direct link: http://www.tone2.com/Tone2_Saurus_Demo.pkg http://www.tone2.com/html/saurus_synthesizer__vst_au.html Ingo |

Someone knows, why they only updated the Mac demo? I'm on Windows and this demo is still dated March 2012 and still runs only 10 minutes. |

Some very interesting changes there. Can't wait to play with it (which won't be until the 20th <- Internet connection issues here, so can't download large files, even 10Mb |

Anything new about v1.1? I've heard that it's currently in beta. When will it be released? |

You could check here: http://www.tone2.org/forum/index.php?topic=1354.0 A demo version of the current v1.1 is available there. This also contains loading and saving Arp patterns like in Rayblaster. Exchanging Arp files between both synths should be possible for around 95% of them according to Markus. Ingo |
