hey folks -
this is my album. i just released it. http://ratsofnym.com/ "Warm Blooded Lizard" is an album inspired by the music and emotions of the spaghetti western film genre, contrasted with the presence and attitude of instrumental hip hop. Poise was an integral part of my album Warm Blooded Lizard. i use an mpc1000 with jjos2xl with Poise. Poise provides drum layers and additional percussion to save polyphony on my MPC, and also to provide additional depth of velocity layers, etc that the MPC is incapable of providing. My drum work is said to be the most defining aspect of my music, and i would have a heck of a lot harder time if it weren't for Poise. SO - take a listen, share it with your friends. Shannon, Poise testers, and Poise buyers - THANK YOU. you're wonderful people and i appreciate all you've done for me, directly or indirectly. best wishes. nym ---- electronic instrumentalism, MIDI instrument design, and words. |

I have to say, this is fantastic. I have been sorely disappointed in the traditional "record company" sponsored music that has come out over the past decade. This is a winderful breath of fresh air. It has been in constant rotation on my playlist for the past month.
Great work. I love it. =milo |

thanks, milo. this album was my "farewell" to my teenage dreams of making my living as a musician...instead it ended up kicking me into a higher gear and wanting it more than ever. ---- electronic instrumentalism, MIDI instrument design, and words. |
