Another Audio-To-MIDI using Melodyne but I use a different verse/chorus bar length from the original verse/chorus bar length so I can extract musical phrases that I want to use.
Customized Logic 9 Environment Macros are generating the notes for all the instruments while I'm using the original Audio-To-MIDI file for it's MIDI performance. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m4tV1lW6z-4 |

This is very interesting stuff. Could you break down the functionality of the individual macros you are using? |

I'll create a video of that but basiclly this is all that I'm doing, I take any MIDI and convert it to a musical scale and in any key but I use the existing MIDI performance, where the note is played and the velocity of the note and apply that new musical scale. I also have other macros that generated random notes, random velocity and generate extra notes but all those would sound bad if I didn't put as the last macro, the scale macro. I currently have over 4000+ scales and each with all the keys, C, C#, D, etc... of those scales. |

Audio-To-MIDI created from Melodyne of this popular song but only using the first 32 bars of the song, 16 for the verse and 16 for the chorus.
Then using my customized Logic 9 Environment Macros I was able to create a new musical idea http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZvxDBs1PDm4 |

Okay thanks, I was wondering whether you were generating notes at places where there are none (aside from with arps). |

in Logic 9. Melodyne detected the vocals are in Minor in the Key of G, so I applied a customized Logic 9 Environment Scale Macro for Minor in the Key of G and a customized Logic 9 Environment Macro to drive the bass as well. Have a listen... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M7ot1UCHhiI |
