Hey guys, been trying to figure this out for ages now! Alesso + Swedish house maifa have been using it quiet abit now.
I originally put a gate over a vocal sample and side chained it to an arp.....didn't turn out that good hahah Any other ideas on how it could possibly be made? What type of vocodor? 0:00-1:00 [ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u_kQq8P1pGc ] (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u_kQq8P1pGc) 0:00-1:00 [ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gs6Jg-BFtG4 ] (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gs6Jg-BFtG4) 0:00-0:07 [ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aENnp1pQ9HI ] (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aENnp1pQ9HI) [ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XQPd0HHRvjo ] (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XQPd0HHRvjo) AUTO-ADMIN: Non-MP3 links have been disabled in this post automatically. Ok il use calling as an example,
Its not a vocoder, its a gated, pitched up, bit crushed vocal. So im unsure if you use logic, but logic comes with shitloads of loops/samples, if you do in the loop section under "vocals", select "Andre Background 5" (This as far as I'm concerned is the exact sample Alesso/Ingrosso Used), Then merely pitch it up a couple semitones, (Quick Quack's Pitchwheel plugin is good). Add a bit of distortion using a bit crusher or overdrive to give it that crispy top end that you hear, then u need to "gate" it to get the stuttering effect, u can either side chain logics gate plugin (same way you would a compressor, to side chain a baseline) Or try XFER's LFO tool..... or merely chop it up manually |

Thank you...I finally found it!!!
For those (noobs) like myself....Download the Jampack (voices)...Use Andre Background 5...If you're on FL Studio...Go with gross beat and Voila! You may have to adjust the settings in gross beat in order to find the right feel to it. |

There you go, it's an .mp3 file of the original file, which sadly was in .caf format. Enjoy |
