SampleTekk's harpsichord, which is sampled every three semitones with release layers, is superb and cheap, albeit a bit bright and tensiony for some... it sounds and feels like new steel-wound guitar strings, but it's easy enough to warm up. (I like old nickel-wound strings, myself.)
Wait... loot _then_ burn? D'oh!

Thanks for the suggestion Jafo! I'll check it out!

for harpsichord (and more) i'd suggest the PMI historic keyboards:

(the Flamish is especially nice)

The Xsample mallets and percussion has a nice vibraphone and other great mallet and perc instruments. If you need some of the other stuff, I'd get it:

Otherwise: maybe choose a free option.

I think it sound really nice, plus you'll get all the mic positions etc.
I don't own it, becouse I don't make much music like this, but everything spitfire does is top stuff!

Don't know if I'm too late in showing up, but the Vienna Instruments Vibraphone sounds so sweet and spooky, I hate having to use it as I end up sitting playing it for hours.
Not cheap, I know, and hogs the CPU, but great sounds, dry or with lots of reverb - and you can turn the little machine thingy on or off, too.
