I also want to encourage you to post more songs in French with lyrics. The translation and interpretation just adds another layer of interest. I actually thought the Babelfish translation of the phrase "La nuit tombée" into "The fallen night" was more poetic than "Night fell." Sometimes computers create accidental poetry. Of course, the human translation was better over all and made more sense.

And, do you know, "Night fallen" is used in France as a joke. The night is fallen, "boom"...
Yes, I would like listen songs in a lot of langages here, It would be nice.
To read the lyrics, to understand the lyrics, to think well of the lyrics...

Very nice song with great emotional urgency to the melody and the vocal. There is actuallly not enough French music in the international charts. I love to hear the language and as a native English speaker who does'nt speak a word of French it has never bothered me that I never understood what was being sung as 9 times out of ten the emotional intention gets through...
my mother suffered with Alheimers for a very very long time and it is one of the worst illness's to deal with as the person you love is there but not there. Thank you for sharing this with us.

A lovely song about what is sometimes referred to as "the long goodbye."
This hits close to home. My brother and I are currently dealing with my mother's worsening dementia. Some while back, I posted a song I wrote about it here at KVR ("My Brother Called"), and many people - fellow travelers - shared their experiences. The compliments on the song were appreciated, but seeing how many people have experienced the same thing meant even more.
