With the exiting new features of M5 available for everyone, i would like to
share a few effects already. Mulab 5 is required for these!
What's new:
- Dimension Expander, Talking Wah, Tremolo, Distroyer, Rectifier simply got a
nicer front panel. No change of the functionality.
- All Pitch Shifter effects are working smoother now thanks to the sine
capabilities of the Multi Point Envelopes
-Driving Filter is a dynamic filter contolled by an envelope follower. Extra
distortion thrown in for good measure
- Warm Tape is an attempt to simulate a tape recorder. Basically it's a complex setup of dynamic EQs and saturation.
- Smear is a bit complicated to describe. Please check the Patch Info text.
This has significant potential for further development in the direction of pitch shift modulation. So, watch this space.
- Peak Filter is a variable peaking filter with added saturation.
- Transient Shaper is what the name says. Please refer to Patch Info text for
more info
One request from my side for the community:
I would like to oberhaul the Channel Stip patches with a nice front panel.
With M5 front panels now able to use pictures as backgound it would be great if someone could do a nice graphic background. I will take care of the internals.
Anyone who is up for the task, please let me know
Any feedback/opinion is very welcome!!
The patches can be found in Jo's Dropbox Under Effects/AndreasD/M5 Effects

Enjoy and Merry Christmas

Thanks for the offer!!
Remember, it has to be fun!

I just added a revised Vintage Delay MK3 to the above folder.
This one adds a ducker plus a bit more grain for the vintage setting. In case you are wondering, vintage delays show some noise.
The ducker will reduce the delay output when you are playing, but restores he levels when you stop playing. So you will hear delays on your last notes only.

Can you give me some sizes for the "Channel Strip" ? Also, do you want a modern or a vintage look?

Hi Sorohanro,
There is a Channel Strip in the factory lib/effects/amplifier which is 440x740px in size. I think with the new smaller knobs it can be narrower (e.g. the Bypass section). I think it should not be taller than 820px for some laptop screens.
I'll do some experiments and PM you.
Thanks
Andreas
