Vote for your Top 10 favorite compositions, in order (most-favorite = #1, proceed downward).
Voting ends on early a.m. (US Central Time), Tuesday, January 1.
No voting for yourself. Voters must have had 20 prior posts, or at least have participated in the contest this month.
Once you place your vote, you cannot change it, unless permission has been granted by the moderator.
In the case of equal scores after voting, entries will be separated by how many 10 pts (i.e., how many #1 votes) they got, then 9 pts and so on. (Thanks to OSC for this rule.)
You must participate in voting to win prizes!
A useful link (but please note the caution at the bottom of the page) :

Thanks and good luck.

This time I have used a 'scientific method' and the output is...
explanation:
scale:1-3 (how many points in each register)
A = antheminess (how much did it sound like an actual anthem to me)
PSC = perceived sonic quality (how much did I valued mixing/arrangement)
CTMPT = compliance to my personal taste (how much did I like the composition/performance)
WP = wildcard points (percentage of divine madness I though I've found in the entry)
SOAT = sum of all thrills (sum of the above)
sorting impact (in order of importance):SOAT,A,PSC,CTMPT,WP
Code: Select all
01.barnadine - A=3,PSC=2,CTMPT=1,WP=3,SOAT=9
02.forw - A=2,PSC=3,CTMPT=3,WP=1,SOAT=9
03.dhmiltz - A=1,PSC=3,CTMPT=3,WP=2,SOAT=9
04.laguna - A=1,PSC=2,CTMPT=3,WP=3,SOAT=9
05.nahkorava - A=1,PSC=3,CTMPT=3,WP=1,SOAT=8
06.docjon - A=1,PSC=3,CTMPT=2,WP=2,SOAT=8
07.clarago - A=1,PSC=2,CTMPT=2,WP=3,SOAT=8
08.evo2slo - A=1,PSC=3,CTMPT=2,WP=1,SOAT=7

Tricky theme, well tackled by all. Too many possible voting criteria for votes to make much sense, but here goes:

4. kryptonaut
5. d.h.miltz
6. zombie queen
7. nahkovara
8. ruedirena
9. clarago
10 nikp2000
HM to all (laguna: i found that hanging note a bit too much of an obstacle)
1. forw
2. evo2slo
3. doc jon
4. kryptonaut
5. d.h.miltz
6. zombie queen
7. nahkovara
8. ruedirena
9. clarago

I have rated anthems with words above others which are for me the music of the anthems ( a bit like instrumental versions of Beatles' songs if you see what I mean.)
10 pts- Barnadine : Fun & entertaining. That's what it is all about ?
9 pts- Kryptonaut: Kaptivated by the Kompletely Kool KraftwerKian KryptoKraut Komputer Kreation of this month( can Kryptonaut have 10 pts too?) .What's more , this induced me into learning how to work around my DAW's vocoder feature which I will probably never use again, but every little bit of knowledge helps.
8 pts- Evo2slo- for the message.
7 pts -DH Miltz- Cool voice ( never heard you before) & nice guitar chords . The most "musical " offering of the month in my opinion.
6 pts- Forw-I like the voice too. The most "anthemic" submission for me.
5 pts- Zombie Queen-I got the meta-message, thanks. Totally original as ever.
4 pts-RuediRena-Nicely unsophisticated & crude, how surprising.
Now for the wordless stuff
3 pts -Doc Jon-Festive & wild. I love it. Would have rated higher with ( even meaningless) words.
2 pts-Nikp2000- Pop/Rock anthemic & I like electric guitars.
1 pts - Laguna Rising - Anthemic yes, maybe a bit too much.
Nahkaorava- it is good but it sounds more cinematic than anthemic to me.
Gigue07- I would probably feel like voting ( partly) for myself-Sorry G7 !!
Beanpole- I am not at home & the computer I am using at the moment would not let me go on "fileden ". I listened to your stuff when you submitted it originally but have insufficient recollection to judge it now.
Thank you, forw for your 10 pts (really unexpected), Barnadine for your "outsourced" reviews , for Danny's commitment & everyone else's good company.
My best wishes to all of you.
