A short peice. Some synth noodling with a minimal setup. Just my Eurorack modular (mostly MakeNoise and Harvestman modules), Eventide Pitch Factor and Octatrack. Recorded and edited in Ableton Live (it used to be more than 10min.) Valhalla Room as a send effect.

enjoyed the minimal nature , and the inherent restraint
brought about by the edit ...

Slick. Cool sound design and some really imaginative modulating. Still a justin3am fanboi. Good to see you posting in here again, too.

Beautiful abstract minimal with an almost cinematic vibe. Damn, this makes me wish I'd gone for another synth instead of a guitar.

Some great sounds in this one. There is much attention to detail. After hearing how much work you must've put into this, I don't know if I want you to even check out my newest track yet since it's still a work in progress and I... ah, who am I kidding? Your stuff just plain puts mine to shame! Good work, Justin.

Thanks guys.

It was a fun track to work on. :)
In fact, I'm still playing with the patches that I used to make it.

yeah, someone on soundcloud likened it to kabuki music and yeah very spare in that regard... but filtered through a vurt module :)

thanks for sharing. hope 2013 will be good for you and brit and all your friends and loved ones.

and yes i would be serious about jamming some time and have some time freeing up soon. sorta branched out of the studio the past year and it has made me want to jam with even more people. i even jammed at an improv get together in costa mesa between xmas and new years with full band setup plus a korg synth, grand piano, nord organ looking keyboard w/drawbar addon, horns, congas. it was so fun. :D

Thanks Deb!

My schedule is super crazy until after NAMM but I'm dying to jam. Maybe some time after that we can get together. Also, let me know when you have upcoming shows and I'll try to make it out. :D

Great synth sounds, and some eerie processing. Put some stutter koto on here and you have a Japanese No. 1.

Good work 8)

This is possibly too avant-garde to be Big In Japan but impressive nonetheless. Reminds me of parts of Morton Subotnick's "Silver Apples of the Moon" from 1967.

I love this. Thanks, Mr. 3am.

Thanks for listening everyone. :)

This is a really nice listen, the parts with lots of reverb and reverse sounds are so attractive. :tu:
