Problems with RPG Sync in Tiger Pro and FL Studio (+other weird issue)

I'm having problem with the synchronization of the RPG in Tiger Pro in FL Studio. What happens is that each time I press play, the gates start with a slightly different offset. At times they are quite noticeably out of time with the rest of the project, sometimes they're off by just a little bit. Presumably this simply depends on when I press play relative to where Tiger's internal clock is. If it's almost on beat, then everything sounds about right; if I press play half way between ticks, everything is well off.

I have KeyRetrig turned on - if I don't the RPG seems to be free running, even though the manual seems to indicate that they should restart on host transport:

Also you can activate Key Retrigger for RPG and Step Mod which is all restart on 1st key pressed. On the other hand all restart on Transport of host too.

I'm not 100% sure whether the RPG should reset on host transport irrespective of the KeyRetrig option though.

Interestingly, if I render my entire "song" in FL, the gates are synced absolutely perfectly. But even more interestingly, Tiger makes no sound in the first bar of rendering and only kicks in from the second bar. If I move Tiger's part back by one bar, it renders perfectly.

Here are two examples of how it sounds in FL (recorded using Edison on the master track and simply pressing play):

The timing in the second one (21) is noticeably off, the timing in the first one is off, but not as badly. If I zoom in and look at the two waves side by side, I can quite clearly see that the two waves are not identical.

Here is how is sounds if I render it (note the first bar is missing):

The rendered version sounds like it should in terms of being synchronized to the beat.

I've mucked around with the plugin settings in FL to no avail.

Any idea what's going on and whether this is just me being daft (user error) or if this is a bug?

This is the best solution for it. As Bar Start has to get in sync with current clock position.

Thanks for the reply. While this allows me to deal with the missing bar when rendering - when everything is also synced properly - it doesn't help with the timing when just playing the song normally.

i.e. even if I add an empty bar, the clock doesn't sync properly when playing, only when rendering. Any thoughts? Smile
