Hi there, I've recently purchased Orange Tree Samples - Acoustic Steel String Guitar and was wondering if these sounds can be produced using the VST or something similar and if anyone can give tips on achieving this type of sound?
I'm just starting out and need to learn about chord progressions but I'm also trying to reach a standard in which I can challenge myself towards. Any effects, settings, chords etc. in general just any advice which may help:

The guitar in this clip is an electric guitar--are you trying to produce the same sort of passage with the acoustic steel string guitar library?

I'm playing around with both, I also purchased the electric one too, can you help me achieve the sound and questions I asked previously please?
I also want to ensure if that type of sound like in the clip can be produced using the VST plugin and how to do so, including any info on the chords if possible. I'm curious to learn.

Here, try out this preset for EEG Strawberry:

It replicates the general tone of the electric guitar used in the audio example you included. I'll have to mess around with MIDI sequences to see if I can get you data for that as well.

I recreated the guitar part of the clip. Dig it.

I achieved this using the Multi Channel MIDI Guitar mode to specify which string each note should play on - MIDI channel 5 for the A string, 3 for the G string, and 2 for the B string. I set the Pitch Wheel mode to Slide and used pitch wheel events on channel 2 for the B string slides.
In my case, I use FL Studio, so I sequenced all of the notes in the Kontakt channel and changed their color to assign them to the correct MIDI channel. After that, I had to create a separate MIDI Out channel and assign that to Kontakt's channel 2 for the pitch wheel events.
And then I drenched it in reverb.
EDIT: Oh, and I set the Play Mode to Mono Strings so I could get that little hammer-on on the B string before the chord progression repeats.

Thanks J!
Edit: How do I open that specific file as my Kontakt 5 player does not load it up

.nka files aren't loaded into Kontakt itself. To use that file, open Kontakt, load the Strawberry patch, click the Load button in the Strawberry interface, then open the .nka file from there.
