I am looking for a real good EQ with more than 10 bands.

Yup, I was going to suggest the ReaPlugs as well.
ReaEQ is my go-to EQ for "cleaning up" material and cutting frequencies. ReaFIR is so much more than a mere EQ, it has a dynamic mode as well, so you can use it to attenuate certain frequency bands dynamically and use it as a De-Esser etc. If you want to use them on a Mac... use Reaper.
