The dark Virus skin looks great, but unfortunately it seems to still be a violation of the EULA to create customs skins, as changing the skin requires opening the dll file. There was some talk about skins being supported in an upcoming version, but that's like waiting for the grass to grow on the moon.

Xenomma Skin for Sylenth1
dunno if it's break the EULA but it's free download @ devianart so i wouldn't have to much headache about: tho i dont own the sylenth but this skin is amazing.

Whoever wants music instead of noise, joy instead of pleasure, soul instead of gold, creative work instead of business, passion instead of foolery, finds no home in this trivial world of ours.

Scott Kane I believe was working with Lennard to create custom skins for the 'next' version, but if I recall correctly they weren't able to come to agreeable terms (one can only imagine why lol) and the idea was scrapped with Scott's work on custom Sylenth1 skins being abandoned.metal wrote:The dark Virus skin looks great, but unfortunately it seems to still be a violation of the EULA to create customs skins, as changing the skin requires opening the dll file. And mine:
This is originally the Black Pearl skin. I modified it to my taste; some may not like it.
And I know I'm probably breaking the EULA but then, I'm not redistributing it nor the .dll so I hope Lennard won't mind.

really makes you wonder how much effort would be involved to implement a skin system (or how much effort was already put into implementing it already as Lennard was working with Scott Kane to skin S1 a couple years ago).
clearly there's a few people who have gone to fair lengths to do this themselves and share their work with others with the same wishes..
one might surmise that in the event that a skin browser was implemented into S1 that much of the content necessary already exists, and could easily be packaged up for easy installation, modification, etc. much in the way that u-he DIVA's skinning has been provided almost exclusively by customers themselves.
just an idea/suggestion if you're reading Lennard

I think vacuum looks best and frankenstein seems to be best usability wise. Love both skins.

usability is key for me (and, lack of ugliness LOL).cyphersuit wrote:I think vacuum looks best and frankenstein seems to be best usability wise. Love both skins.
made the keyboard black because i HATE seeing keyboards on my synth plugins.
skins are great; an UPDATED PLUGIN would be even better...
