Well I mostly export to VST things like my basic enveloppe follower, or stuffs like that: things I need in reaper as a simple vst and don't have the patience to look for everywhere when I can export it in 2mn...
As I allmost allways use Usine, I don't export to VST that much. And yes, it allways come with a data folder. |

Thanks hma. I have Piz midi plugin colection (without Randomid), and I was just about to try the midiProbability one. Too bad they don't have a proper GUI, but that shouldn't be a big problem. There is unfortunately a problem: in Ableton it seems there's no way you could insert a MIDI VST (3rd party) plugin in the same track with an instrument (like you would do with Live's own MIDI effects). So you must create another track for the MIDI plugin and make all the routings. This is very annoying. |

Maybe you can use something like VSTBoard to chain them together http://sourceforge.net/projects/vstboard/ |

Easy to do in all the ones I use with automation etc. Piece of cake in Live Are you sure about this? I've just posted a thread explaining how difficult it is to do this kind of modulation/routing in Live. Please take a look, and maybe you could show me a better method. 3 MIDI tracks, 2 plugins and a lot of routings just to modulate a parameter with an LFO in Live 8? |
