Anyone knows any Saturation plugins to suggest to try out?
Also what Saturation plugin are you using and why?
Lets start discussing about Saturation.:p

What kind of saturation are you looking for? What are you going to use it for?

Anyway some good allround freeware ones are VoS FerricTDS, TesslaPro mkii, voxengo tube amp. I don't really use that many dedicated saturation plugins, I mostly use analog EQ/channel/compressor/whatever simulations that have some sort of saturation going on in them.

There isn't any freeware stuff that I particularly recommend the saturation on, however BootEQ mk III has a good saturation section, and roundtone, for the price, is wonderful.
The best tape effect I've used is VTM, but that's pricey. However roundtone does some stuff vtm doesn't, both're worth purchasing.

I use a tape sim plugin on every bus, every time. At least I have for the last few years. Kramer Tape is usually my first pick but I'll use Nomad Factory's Magnetic II, Tonebooster's Reelbus or SKnote's Roundtone as the situation or CPU load dictates. I tend to add them after I've achieved an acceptable mix then tweek to suit.

Fabfilter Saturn and Sknote Roundtone are the favorites that I have tried. Both offer high quality oversampling for a true analog experience.

This one is only about tape drive (BootEQ emulates a tube sat not a tape sat)

You can also try Ferrics from Variety of Sound (tape drive plus tape dynamic), Roundtone and Reelbus are amazing (and cheap) and VTM is definitely a jem.

Another good saturation plugin is FXpansion Maul.

It would be nice if the GUI was re-sizable since it takes up a lot of space.
