A match made in heaven! Do try out the splits, though, as the P-90 is the best part of that pickup. I'll see if the tech can work something out. I'm not sure there's enough space routed out for microswitches, I guess one multi-way microswitch could work.. don't know where in the pickguard it could go (lol)! it sets up much different than a rose, the fine tuners are lower and angled. This is what makes the edge pro very comfortable to play, the arm itself I'll get use to. It's the same height as my rose's now, the feel is great...I'm in no rush to change anything on this guitar and seeing how I just changed the strings I mean that ---- I never learned anything from being right Hink 2012 RIP Reason L. and Ian B |

If the tech at GC can wire it, then it's worth thinking about.. right now I just want to get the pickup into the Strat, I can get fancier later since I now intend to swap out the two single-coils as well. Remember - I have no room to do the work myself and from the looks of things may end up having to move in the next month or so (long boring story), I can't be in the middle of a soldering job when the chaos finally goes down.

I dunno.. I'm going to get the tech to swap the humbucker in the Strat for the P-Rail this weekend, if that works I'm considering having him shove a Rio Grande Halfbreed in the center position, then a Lace Hot Gold in the neck.. have to see how the first swap works out. Meh. Spent all night playing the Strat as-is, playing with clean and processed sounds.
Honestly, it sounds good. Not classically Stratty due to the humbucker, but for solo guitar (blues, acoustic style, clean playing) it's great. So I'm going to sell the P-Rails, and save up for a Nashville Tele, and leave the Strat the hell alone!
