Seriously lame question, but can it be done? I'm tired to viewing some of my dvd's on DVD ;)

My guess is that can be done, but I don't see why. Because what you certainly can do is watch the dvd disks on PC with software like MediaPlayerClassic. No copying required, it plays directly from disk.

As long as you're making copies for yourself (which is legal in most of civilized world) you can try DVD Decrypter or a similar tool. They copy and re-create the structure of a DVD disc on your PC. I used in a past and it worked flawlessly most of the time.

Thanks.
I'd also like to retire my DVD's and run all media through iTunes.

Yes, when I was travelling around a lot I just copied some of my favorites movies on a portable hard drive and I would always take them with me :)

I use http://www.slysoft.com/en/anydvdhd.html and http://handbrake.fr/

Does a great job, and allows my DVDs/Blurays to be safely kept away from 'little' fingers, and also means easy access on a whim.
