Discount for Tracktion 2 owners? Oh ok. :D

It has been a looooooooong time. Can T4 still cut it? The single window deal has been done and is pretty much standard in at least a few top DAW's (Studio One, Sonar) workflow is unique to DAW's for the most part. This may be where Tracktion can still set itself apart. But it is a tall order. Time will tell I guess. I still have some older Tracktion projects I could revisit in a new version Lol! :hihi:

Ok. I wish I could go to sleep...but I'm staying up until the tracktion.com redirect isn't stuck in 2008.

I really hope they will succeed. They need to work hard to return to the top as they were before the Mackie era.

Time will tell :-)

I tried out Traktion 3 and actually found it to be very intuitive! I am totally interested!!

Bring on T4!

Well thanks, miquelmatas, for that. I can rest easy now knowing that:

From what I understood, there will be an anouncment at NAMM. (just a few days)
At that point Tracktion will officially change hands from Mackie to TSC (aka Traction Sofware Company aka back in the hands of the creator, Jules).
I also believe T4 will be downloadble at that moment.
From what I understand there are no major changes in T4 at least not yet.
What the current version does is bringing it up to date for OS, VST and hardware versions.

Hooray!

Last week I shredded a bunch of old folders.

One of which contained my original Tracktion 2 licence details.

And you don't have it as e-mail? Bummer.

You should still have them in your Mackie account. Just log back in and they should all be there. My serials are all there.

Oddly enough, I have the original Tracktion 1 email. www.mackie.com seems to be down at the moment, so I'll have a look when it's next back up. Thanks. :)

[edit - wierd, my.mackie.com is 'kinda' up, but a lot of the graphics are missing and it doesn't recognize my registered email]
