Suppose I'm approached by an independent label who want to license a few of my old tracks, what's the standard deal? I've been Googling around for a straight answer but it hasn't been forthcoming.
It should be fairly straightforward as I am the writer and performer of all the material.
So, is it just some one off blanket fee? Or is it on a per track basis? Or by track duration? I'm getting all sorts of possibilities thrown at me .

Spot on. That's precisely what I'm doing. Asking them them name their price then will go from there. I didn't realise the process was so 'fluid'.
