A little tribute to Goblin and Claudio Simonetti.
This is my cover of the main theme from the classic horror movie Suspiria.
Enjoy it!

Yup it worked! Cool! You've changed it quite a bit compared to the original which is a good thing cuz I don't like note for note covers. The soundtrack to suspiria is definitely one of favorite music score.

Yes, I've tried to improvise some new things with the solo and other stuff.paradiddle wrote:You've changed it quite a bit compared to the original which is a good thing cuz I don't like note for note covers.

Very nice! I love both the OST and your arrangement!
Mix sounds great, however the snare is perhaps a bit to loud on my living room system (Behringer MS40 and Sennheizer HD555) and to my tastes.
Do you mind sharing wich sound sources you have used?

Yes agree, it's something I've noted as well...Mix sounds great, however the snare is perhaps a bit to loud on my living room system (Behringer MS40 and Sennheizer HD555) and to my tastes.

- The piano is my aPiano library
- The drums are EZDrummer lite + some samples for the crash sound
- The bass is a soundfont collected years ago which is one of my favourite for rock tracks (it was available on Bjorn Linne site)
- The synth sound is ElectraX
- Different patches from a Korg T3 and 01/W has been used for effects, for the choir sound and additional percussions (timpani and hits)
- The guitar is my Epiphone SG played through a Behringer V-Amp
- The voice is... well my mouth
The effects are those included in Studio One (reverb, delay and compression.)

Good job. I like anything with atmosphere and you certainly have put plenty into this. Nice solo and guitar work.
Love the ending.

I like the original, but I think your remake is better. It's more condensed and cuts to the chase. Nice guitar, and the rhythm section and synths are great.
Good work
