That's more like it. The "edgy" sound is back, and the harmonics have a lot more body to them. This mix is also better than the last one.

For whatever reason the old Peavey Blazer was a much better preamp than the line 6 spider 15 watt.....opposite as practice amps on their own though.
I only use distortion, no EQ and volume on 1. I am not well read on the new modeling amps. The Peavey added some character to the sound of amplitube 3, the Spider seems more like a required redundancy since I go straight to the soundcard's Hi-Z.
Think I'll find another old Peavey.
