Hello all,

I'm having issues with new Elixir V3 (full version) from Flux. My sessions in Logic are crashing sometimes and ALWAYS crashing when i use Izotope RX2 as an external editor. In RX2, it's not validating properly, same as 64 bits demo version in Logic.
Also, Logic reports unexpectedly quit here and there.
I already sent a ticket to support. Waiting for an answer.

Is anybody here having similar issues with this plug in?
Please, let's make some noise in favor of a bug free update. ASAP!

One of the best limiters out there, especially if your goal is transparency. But still buggy as hell...

Cheers!

Yes, in Cubase 6.5 it just makes a stuttering, digital noise.

Also many validation problems and now with 2 dongles.

I have been in contact with flux but no gave up after too much time spent.

I personally recommend going back to the previous version.

Yep, i'll do that. Thanks!
I bought the plug in yesterday, so i never used the old version 32bits. Downloading now!

Unfortunately, 32bits in Logic sucks deeply. But, i think i don't have any more options by now...

HEY FLUX (and other developers) :

We expected and want to receive solid releases from you, especially as they are UPDATES, and not entirely NEW .
No more betas, please!
:x

Thanks in advance.

32bits V3 seems to work now. Better than nothing...

Logic and Izotope RX2 users - stay way from this v3 64 bits until they release a bug free update.

Elixir v3 validates here in 32 and 64 bit Logic 9.1.8 (OSX 10.8.2).
I have full version, not demo.

But EVERY time I quit Logic after using Elixir it crashes.

I've spoken with Flux about it, they know.

Edit: I do have RX2, wonder if that is an issue ??

Believe me: there's a BIG issue using Logic with Elixir v3 64 bits inserted on a track and RX2 as an external editor.

Try this: Select a region in Logic, press shift+w. The region will now open in RX2 if you've previously selected it as external audio editor. Make your edits, save and back to Logic. You won't hear a thing and after that, BANG! Logic crashes.

I finally got mine working after too
many hours.

My issue seems unique to this thread as it was a problem between the two dongles and the security drivers.

BUT, also experienced a crash in Cubase after I got it working.

Hope they get it worked out.

they don't work for me either..same issues, but i am on snow leopard and it seems they are lion and up.

are you by any chance also on SL?

if you ARE on lion, which is supported, i have no idea for the life of me how crap like this passes beta test. I mean they simply DON'T WORK.
