We were busy in the kitchen making some delicious and tasty pancakes today, and look, we've got one for you too:
PanCake 2 out now, for free: http://www.cableguys.de/pan-cake.html
New in version 2: A precise display of channel left/right volume for helpful visual control, an option to trigger the LFO via MIDI notes, a dry/wet control, plus a redesigned interface.
As Computer Music Magazine puts it: "As you'd expect from Cableguys, PanCake is a wacky, customisable, over-the-top stereo panner — it's autopanning taken to loony extremes."
PC+Mac, AU+VST+RTAS, 32- and 64-bit.

Peter Kirn from CDM (Create Digital Music) just did a great post on PanCake, MidiShaper and stuff:

If you have eaten too many pieces of it, you need Volume Shaper, too...
(BTW, thanks for the new visual control!)

Jakob, how about a video that shows the merits of PC2 ?

Amateur technicians are assessed by the tools they possess - and the amount of those tools, with an obvious preference to the latest hyped ones.

Good idea, but we are just lacking time.. too many projects right now to work on. But of course if anyone want to do a good PanCake video, we are happy to share it!Tp3 wrote:Jakob, how about a video that shows the merits of PC2 ?

Yes, even my colleague Steffen was pushing me to remove the startup screen.. so, version 2.0.1 is out now - it's only change: no startup screen (but you can still click on the Cableguys logo in the main screen and the splash screen will pop up, with tips on drawing the waveform/curve).TheoM wrote:YAY!! and thanks for responding to the email so quick about removing the gui startup.. We've just uploaded a beta version for 2.0.2:
http://www.cableguys.de/downloads/Cable ... 2-Beta.zip
It contains a small fix for Logic when Logic is used with negative timing values before bar 0 (uh..). But more importantly, it is our first plugin which ships with an installer, so it would be great if many of you can test the installer, if it works on all of your systems!
