Thanks for your time looking all this up mztk. I have all the BuzzRoom plugs you've listed.
Buzzkill is a synthmaker plug by Chironex buzz_effect_adapter.dll is not a vst, it's a Fruity Loops plugin which hosts buzzmachines. Buzzmachines aren't vsts either but plugins for the Jeskola Buzz tracker, if you're looking for any more of them, you'll net everything that's available by following the links in this thread: http://forums.jeskola.net/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=5 (I am the OP of this thread). There is a buzzmachine to vst adapter package that floats around consisting of BuzzFXVst.dll, BuzzGenVst.dll, Dsplib.dll and Lee Dragon's Mono To Stereo Wrapper.dll but it's unnoficial and probably illegal as, while Buzz is completely free, I believe there is a $5000 fee to pay to Oskari Tamelin for the rights to host buzzmachines in another software than Buzz. I didn't have the AcousModules SpatRez 8 so that's cool, thanks. And since you mention Csound, I am not sure if you guys are aware of Cabbage which can make vst/vsti out of csd files. (Csound required to be installed for them to work). Binaries and examples on google code and some more examples on the Cabbage forum: https://code.google.com/p/cabbage/ http://www.thecabbagefoundation.org/viewforum.php?f=16&sid=9 23fcf36849c443b7eac6805377590ee And btw, since I am at it, I should mention that if you are bored and don't know what else to do, some 74 vst plugins can be generated and downloaded from this Faust webpage: http://faust.grame.fr/index.php/online-examples |

Thanks for the mighty digs lately, fellow archeologists.. Especially those Samplepool and op-002 are fun. Here's something I found recently, probably old news for some of you: http://dsp.trilete.net/?pid=projects -- comb filters, etc. |

haha see: you can even make VST plugins out of cabbage now,
where will it end...who needs synthedit, eh. c++? no mate, i've got cabbage. sorry, i realised most of those were already in the acousmodules.7z afterwards. could we get your mega collection once you've completed it? lots there not seen elsewhere, and i reckon he did some pretty extensive work on his subject(! - spatial/5.1/surround etc.) the Buzz collection is another one; seems it changed pediodically and was a fair old download session. can't work out why i don't have them. is CSound related to OSC? Niall Moody was a bit anti MIDI and advocated OpenSoundControl as the alternative. audio+midi down the same pipe. oh, i've got a super-early version of synthmaker if anyone's interested: is in fact a plugin, i think. maybe already listed. |

But of course I'll gladly upload a pack of all those that aren't available anymore as soon as someone tells me which ones they are, I've posted a list of all I've got a few pages back. was a fair old download session. can't work out why i don't have them. That Buzz collection is only a small subset of all the buzzmachines that can be found. I've got about 1500 dlls in my buzz/gear folder. You'll net them all by following the link I posted somewhere above. Buzz is still currently actively develloped btw but requires dotnet since version 1146. Quote: is CSound related to OSC? Niall Moody was a bit anti MIDI and advocated
OpenSoundControl as the alternative. audio+midi down the same pipe. I don't think so but I am not sure what OSC is actually. CSound is probably one of the oldest audio synthesis and DSP computing platform there is out there. You can read up about it's history if you look it up a bit. thanks for more unseen links will try to wrap that synth up soon, been looking at it for too long, aaaargh. you will notice maybe that mod>VCA doesn't work yet (can't decide where to fit it into signal path), and the occasional high CPU may be due to old patches still on there. should run 5-12% ish. as you move forwards, you realise there are other ways to do things, and you start going round in circles. bit like music technology in general really. i think RBR has the right approach, at the end of the day. there is a zen quality in the way he flings them out. maybe it is time for a RBR megapack, RBR, VolumeOne. |

Im looking for an effect called "Mincer" or maybe The Mincer which was around in about 2009 by a developer named Spyro
Anyone remember this? I seem to remember it being a little like Supatrigga but included a "swing" function. Im pretty sure it was freeware , or maybe it was a beta of an unfinished project? Anyhoooooo , would like to give it a spin if anyone can dust the archives off and have a rake around for it. ( apologies if this should have gone into the effects forum instead , just tell me off about it and I promise to go lose some sleep) Thanks all ---- I meant to do that. |
