Hi

I have the Galaxy 2 and Vintage D piano libraries that came inside Kontakt player 4. I'm know looking to buy 3rd party plugins to work on projects inside GarageBand ? after installation will these 3rd party plugins also show up inside KP4 ?

you mean to use like other vst and au?

i don't believe kontakt hosts external plugins, only it's own scripts and presets that others or you make.

Yes basically to have a full library of plugins inside KP4 to use on various projects.

nope, Kontakt can't load 3rd party effects.

And it's a good thing it isn't, sub-hosting plugins is just asking for trouble.

So after buying new plugins how will they load inside GarageBand to work on projects ? i assume like Kontakt they'll come with their own players ?

That's right..
each plugin has it's own interface and component for garageband to read.

There are third party providers who script for The Kontakt player.

soniccouture have a huge library with scriptorium.
