Few weeks ago I found some interesting instrument with functionality of images sonification. I downloaded few samples of images-sounds sets from its website.
I found it accidentally during intense session of googling, so I didn't make any notes and I haven't remembered its name. Then I lost its trace during moving my workshop to new computer. Folder with all those temporary content was lost. I have no browser history, no files, nothing. Yes, I tried undelete tools, but related disk area was multiple times ovewritten with new data. ONLY thing that survived is one image from website of this program, which was used in example of image sonification. Here it is:
Its original name of file was atg_smp_07.jpg Yes, I tried TinEye and Google Image Search. No results. Now KVR community is my last hope Does anybody associate some program name with this image? Help will be appreciated. ---- https://soundcloud.com/metadronos Join me and other ambient music passionates at http://www.ambientonline.org |

metasynth? dont recognise the image but those two do what youre after I use PhotoSounder and I know MetaSynth. Unfortunately, program with lost name is not any of them... I made desperate google searches, trying various expressions for describing program generating (among other functions) sound from images. It helped me to discover few interesting programs, but not this lost one. ---- https://soundcloud.com/metadronos Join me and other ambient music passionates at http://www.ambientonline.org |

I have and use CoagulaLight, AudioPaint, PhotoSounder, SonicPhoto Gold and this program was not any of them. This was instrument/effect with more functions than simple image sonification and it was commercial. This is the only thing I remember ---- https://soundcloud.com/metadronos Join me and other ambient music passionates at http://www.ambientonline.org |

Its atmogen.
