Random thought but I was wondering if you guys had thought of doing anything with recordings from a hydrophone. I remember seeing a program on the BCC a while ago - might have been a Springwatch or something like that, when they were using one and some of the sounds they picked up were absolutely fascinating. I've been thinking for a while it might make an interesting basis for some sort of sound FX/percussion library or some such but haven't really had a chance to explore it further... |

Absolutely. We have a couple hydrophones here, and are near finishing a library that uses hydrophones in some pretty remote and interesting places. Stay tuned Jacques Cousteau! |

that's right. We have about 4GB of recordings from Chris Watson - we're working on an 'Abstrakt' type library of pads and atmospheres, combining Chris's stuff with our own data. |
