Postby sfxmachine; Fri Feb 22, 2013 2:12 pm AudioEffects.com, new audio software site

I'm pleased to announce that my new website, AudioEffects.com, is an authorized reseller for two of the most distinguished brands in audio processing: Prosoniq (makers of Morph, OrangeVocoder, and TimeFactory II) and Zynaptiq (makers of PITCHMAP and the exciting new UNVEIL plug-in).

UNVEIL, in particular, does things I would have regarded as impossible (such as reducing reverb even on a mono signal). No wonder it just won the 2013 Electronic Musician Editor's Choice award.

We'll be adding additional product lines in the weeks to come, so keep watching.

Zynaptiq has just released UNFILTER, a real-time plug-in that removes filtering effects, such as comb filtering, resonance, or excessive equalization - effectively linearizing the frequency response of a signal automatically. Basically, this does blind deconvolution - not an easy problem to solve.

UNFILTER can also apply a detected filter response to another signal, or export it to disk as an impulse response, and can even perform mastering grade adaptive, free-form, and graphic equalization.

It's available from our new reseller site:

Very cool video of Frank Filipetti - at 7:43, he talks about how useful Sound Radix plug-ins (Auto-Align & Surfer EQ) have been for him in his Avid workflow:

If phase issues are detrimentally affecting your mixes, it might be time to reach for the Pi. Alex Holmes chews it over in this review of the Sound Radix Pi Phase Interactions Mixer:

Hmm, maybe we will see Windows versions of Prosniq plugs now theyve aquired all the rights. Not that I want any of them

Zynaptiq GmbH announces the acquisition of Prosoniqʼs complete IP, including their current and past product line, technologies, patent rights, research data and license contracts, effective March 1st, 2014. Zynaptiq will continue to offer the current line of Prosoniq products.
Please don't make me buy anymore plugins
