Hi,

I'm new here, this place was suggested by a friend as a place where people might be interested to see more about what I'm doing.

I build electronic musical devices for a hobby, which I'm trying to turn into a living. Some of you may know me for the creation of the Monowave back in 2002. I know this won't be a quick process, but things are going fairly steadily so far.

I had a break from building synths for a while due to pressure at work, but I now realise that more than anything I want to be building synths.

GorF began life a couple of years back to help me with developing synths, the idea was to have something flexible that could generate different types of MIDI data, note on, note off, midi CC, clock, etc.

GorF gained a bit of popularity and I begun making some kits available. Since this time a number of new features have been added, Step Length, pattern chain (so you can have effectively 16 steps) and bank play which is a very powerful feature letting you choose which of the 8 patterns in a bank to play and allowing them to have different numbers of repeats.

The next step I'm taking is to stop selling kits and start selling fully assembled units ready to go.

You can read more about the features, and see videos on my web site (I did try and post some links to pictures, but it seems as this is my first post I'm not allowed to)

Thanks
Paul

Thanks for your interest, but I won't be doing any more kits (you won't believe how mind numbing it is sitting there counting parts into 20 little bags).

I have two assembled ones for sale without cases (long story), but from here in (assuming all goes well) it'll only be assembled products that I sell.

:hihi: yes i work with electronic parts too.

Want to PM me a price for a case less one if you indeed want to sell it?

Post

Thanks, the price for the "caseless" ones is £170 + P&P
you can buy them from me via paypal, using the page on my site - http://vacoloco.net/order.shtml

100% the money from the sale of these units goes straight back into the company to buy parts and get more products out there (Another batch of Ziras will be next).

Love these mini hardware devices. Just ordered a GorF and definitely interested in the Zira when available.
