Happy to hear that :tu: The main chain where I'm based charge about USD32 for a basic Margherita (that is a pizza with just sauce and cheese, no topping) and that is before driver fee is added.

No wonder Norwegians are so fit and slim, food is so god-darn expensive here :D
Expensive pizza chains do have $30~ takeaways here too.
It's all about the wavelets. I dream of the perfect additive synthesis.

I use SIDizer LE from Beat Magazine and generally I am quite satisfied with it, since it is capable of doing much more than just chipsounds. On the minus side overall sound could be better IMO. Great features yeah, but sonically is lacking a little. This is why I'd love to lay my hands on something else this type - simillar, yet different, sounding tad better.

Maybe if I'd switch to a full version it would do the trick, I don't know. But all in all - I like it.

There is the Big Mac index for price comparisons, as the product is the same all over the world.

According to info (of July 2012) Norway has the second most expensive Big Mac in the world at $7,02 (Venezuela is the most expensive at $7,92). In the good old US of A Big Mac retails at $4,33

That's what I'm talking about. People think it is sonically lacking, but I love it. It really sounds like a synth. I guess that's what I love about it. If I could keep Amber and sell the rest, I would swap SIDizer with Cypher and Strobe. Maybe it's the post-post-modern thing where I want something that sounds like a digital synth.

i have it. its great for expressive leads. really underrated. dont forget to turn the "bug gen external noise" off, its really annoying.
Whoever wants music instead of noise, joy instead of pleasure, soul instead of gold, creative work instead of business, passion instead of foolery, finds no home in this trivial world of ours.

I tried the demo recently and I agree that the sound is somewhat appealing. My big concern is that it is about to become abandon ware since it was made with synth master (which is discontinued). If I felt like this product was going to ever be updated I'd grab it...

EDIT:By synth master, I meant synth maker. My bad.

It was updated very recently, to 1.4.

I like the Beat SIDizer LE version a lot, but there is a couple of things that holds me from investing in the full version:

It seems to be heavy on CPU, and I'm not getting the "last tweaked" midi-learn option in FL Studio to work with it.

I wouldn't say that's very recent, but that's only my opinion. The Hypersynth website also hasn't had a news update since August. I was wrong in thinking that synth maker is gone forever, it was merged into another product, so I suppose 64-bit support may come around some day.

Strayboom- Killer tune. Love the rock/chiptune combo.

So, while I was working on my new album (release date 20.04.2014), I used SIDizer in the tracks and was experimenting with it a lot. "A lot" means 100 new preset (a complete SIDizer soundbank) in a pack: http://www.strayworx.com/sidized

And a demo track, that proves SIDizer is not only a chiptune synth:

Wadda... hold, on - there's a Beat version? :o Geez, how many synths have been released exclusively through Beat that I'm not aware of? Oh man :dog: So is it different from let's say the official demo version?
