While discussing some of the most vomit inducing songs of all time Paul Anka's "Having My Baby" naturally came up..... While I have to admit Mr. Anka's version is gut wrenching I have to say that The Coolies 1986 version of the tune was pretty damn funny.....check out the spoken word interlude in the middle.....

...saw this back in the 80s on Formel Eins (all fellow Krauts over the age of 35 know what I'm talking about) and have loathed it ever since. Loathed it, that is, until I learned that it was really a Serge Gainsbourg song, which of course makes it cool as hell. Still loathe it, though. |
