hey,
back in the day, before i was tempted by the evil-goodness that is computer music, i played in a bona fide rock band with real guitars, drums and feedback (and that aweful ringing in your ears that you get after a late gig at the Bull & Gate on a school night!!)....
i recently decided to try and do a rock track again, and although i did have to use sampled drums, i managed to stay clear of soft synths, sequencers etc...anyway here's the result...give it a listen if you have a spare couple of minutes.....
cheers

Blimey! That's rather good! Shit! Some bits of pop genius in there. Capn Mark, you've got competition in the production department! Laughing

Errr, no, it refers to Boss cider (some super strength nastiness brewed in Leeds!), it's short for Boss loving drunken revolutionary. f**k knows how I ever deserved that! Laughing

Wow ... This is a really good song... I like it a lot.

Though I'm sure I heard a synth in the left speaker at 1:52-2:00 Wink

I liked it. Some of the sounds put me in a nostalgic Adrian Belew state of mind (when he was concentrating on song-writing).

Wow, there is definately a trend going around k-v-r, or is it in music in general? A return to the guitar. Months ago fter a hiatus of many years i picked mine back up and even bought a new one. I was so impressed by Amplitube that I have been developing a whole stack of presets for it. see this thread:
http://www.kvr-vst.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=554706#554706

Anyway, does anyone around here think the guitar is making a comeback?
