Once your bits are crushed there's no going back - you can't uncrush them.

Just add a few bits, e.g. by converting from 16 bit to 24 bit. Then add a little noise so the bits spread a little over the newly gained range. Voila, bitcrusher removed.
Be careful though, if you are in a 64 bit environment and use bridged 32 bit audio files this doesn't work because 32 bit is floating point and does not have any bits.
