Thank's - what, you sold VVV and re-bought it? Hmmm, that was quite a workaroundjethrobull wrote:Absolutely beautiful!I have just re-purchased vvv and this just made me realize what I have been missingSampleconstruct wrote:Ahhh, the new Smooth Room algo is just what the doctor ordered - ebowed acoustic guitar patch (HALion 5) processed with VVV:

The decay with the Attack at 0% in Nonlin does offer something new which is really nice.valhallasound wrote:As the track progresses, the Attack knob is turned past 50% (gated reverb) to 0% (a very short, natural decay). The Attack knob is then turned back to 100% slowly, and the Size control is increased, to create a much longer reverse reverb sound.

Great example Simon, thanks.

I agree, in fact for mine all the Smooth offerings are great.vic_france wrote: I just can't get over how great the Smooth Plate algorithm is.
Just used Smooth Room on a mix of just 2 guitars and it sounds really nice, wide, lush, spacious.
Great work Sean.

I'd be curious to hear some examples, can't try the beta since I'm on PC.Beatworld wrote:I agree, in fact for mine all the Smooth offerings are great.vic_france wrote: I just can't get over how great the Smooth Plate algorithm is.

Tried this yesterday, while the sound of the reverb itself was extremely transparent/clear(best way I can describe it) - I found all the presets set too wet and not very subtle(i.e dryer maybe), I found this annoying. I find this with the D16 Toraverb too. I'm on the fence currently about making a purchase! I.e I'd rather have presets closer to what I want then tweak carefully as I don't really fully understand reverb settings.

interesting... sounds very sweet! Personally I usually wouldn't dare to put nearly as much reverb on something, but it really works here - super-nice guitar playing as well - is that you?Sampleconstruct wrote:The Smooth Plate algo in "NOW" mode:
