It's first proper song I recorded in a while. If you hear nothing wrong in the mix, please let me know, so I can fix it.

Software used on this: Battery 2 (samples from Waveshaper and Tonescape), Absynth 5, Glitch, Vapor, Ronin, Relectro, Mark Studio 2 and TH2, Soniformer, Pristine Space, TDL Feedback Compressor II, Pro-C, IIEQpro.

Post

Very strange... so I guess you don't need to fix it :)
It wasn't me! (well, actually, it probably was) - apparently now an 'elderly' so maybe I forgot!

Post

Did Xavier destroy your guitar strings? :o

Post

That was pretty neat. Not really my usual listening fare, but it was curious enough to draw me in. Sounds like the mix fixed YOU :hihi:

Post

No, but he has been pulling my leg, when I was pulling those strings.

Post

the mix was flawless, but the composition was an acid trip!! :drunk: :drunk: :drunk:

comfortable uncomfortable
great saturday morning tune...
taking a closer second look
at banal seeming things around me
while listening...
squinting, blinking, shaking my head...
... but smiling.

cheers,
tl.

Post

I'm happy about this successful summoning of a smile.

This is a great off kilter track. Love the subversive nature of it! Great guitar! Well done! :)

Pretty cool, this is a smooth track...makes me feel heavily sedated, in the best kind of way....no drooling on myself. ;-)

relaxed and on for the ride.

It reminds me of my first earthquake. I had a hangover at the time and wasn't quite able to appreciate the event's full significance. Sensory insulation or something like that. Quite unnerving.

Good work :)

Post

So, you had many earthquakes?

Post

3 or 4. But no biggies. I think the strongest was about 5.0 with an epicentre about 300km from where I was at the time.

Post

Where were those? Not UK I suppose? I don't know, I always kind of thought of earthquakes, like rare exotic creatures. Never felt one myself.

Post

Some of them were in the UK. The 5.0 was when I was living in Istanbul. you would be surprised at how often they occur.
