Soundfont 2 files sustain

Hi all. When I load a SF2 file into the TX (v2.3) and play a note they sustain until the end of the sample.. any ideas why this is happening? These are Rhodes samples and usually stop when lifting your finger off the keyboard. Thx

I assume this does not happen with every sound font, since in my experience, most SF2:s load and play pretty close to original. Could you send me the offending sound font file so I can check it out?

Uhm, that sound font loads pretty much perfectly. All envelopes, group setups, etc etc look flawless. And it plays as expected here at least.
If you have never-ending notes, it seems that your controller (or DAW) is either

* Not sending note-off
* Sending sustain/hold pedal

though from here its hard for me to determine. Can you tell me what OS (version, and bit width), and which DAW you are using?

I used samplerobot (24bit/44.1) to record that. Controller is a Motif XS8. DAW is Sonar X3. I have SF2's that don't sustain, and like the one I sent you, do sustain.
I looked at any midi sustain settings, but saw nothing that would effect it. Hmm
