Any chance you guys have looked into wireless touch DAW controller apps like https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta ... tdaw&hl=en ?
This one looks pretty cool. Has support for a good list of DAWs, but Tracktion isn't on it yet. Would be great to be able to use this with T5.

Thanks for looking into that. That iPhone app looks nice too. It'll be cool to get TouchDAW supported for Samsung users.

I just wanted to bump this thread to report that this app works well in Tracktion 6 (windows7, android phone). It has it's quirks and it takes a lot of time to get used to, but for the price it's worth it even just as a transport control. I love to walk around the room during recording sessions and I can even control punch in's rather easily as long as the inputs are set up beforehand.
For me the the major downfall is that the volume controls will affect the first volume plugin of each track. Apparently it's an emulation of a Mackie Control Unit and that's how it works. I always use multiple volume plugins for gain staging and automation, and the last one is the leveling one, so this handicaps me from mixing very easily with the app. I'm considering altering my workflow to work around this, but I don't know yet.
Still, if you want a fun little DAW controller for your phone or tablet for under $6, check it out.

Didn't know it was supported, ironically the iPad app has a mixer.TSC wrote:Just emailed those guys - sure they will add Tracktion soon

Didn't even think about that! TouchDAW has a mixer as well. I tried V-control a while back, but could not get it to communicate with my computer (used rtpMIDI with TouchDAW). I didn't give it much effort though because it was $50 for the full version.aMUSEd wrote:
