I follow a star under a blanket of love
As below so is above on christmas
Death of darkness to clear sight
In our pervading and exploring eyes
Stars they dance as they unveil
The meaning of a christmas tale
Moon and sun, silver and gold
What the three wise men foretold
Is our archeic ritual and rite
We celebrate returning light
Forest full of winter bulbs
Fruits of knowledge soothing lulls
Round the earth our likeness dwells
Language rings like silver bells
Stars they dance as they unveil
The meaning of a christmas tale
Awaken from your darkest sleep
Tinsel glistens with dew
Christmas shines in you
The tree of life's in bloom
We can start our lifes anew
Sun in Virgo, house of bread
Rise up shepards as we are lead
Into a new day bright and pure
Brighter than the day before
We will succeed, we will provale
The meaning of a christmas tale

And merry christmas to you.
I especially enjoyed the little piano break.
Nice touch.

How do you find those great lyrics?
(The only weak point is the rhyme between "bread" and "lead"...)
I'm totally out of muse at the moment...

Astonishing how you keep thinking up these lyrics, and a bright lively tune to go with them.
It wasn't me! (well, actually, it probably was) - apparently now an 'elderly' so maybe I forgot!

welll i had a conversation with a friend about the roots of christmasfolderol wrote:Astonishing how you keep thinking up these lyrics, and a bright lively tune to go with them.
you know the pagan origin and then the idea lead to a song.
I asked poly if she had some poems ... she had and i've added my own lines

The song has a pretty good sound. The beat was good. In parts the vocal was a bit distracting for me because at tmes as I kept trying to compare what I thought the next word would be when the accent got confusing.
