I see mixed results on whether KORE and "modern" Native Instruments can run on the same machine.

What's the verdict here?

Is it a non issue if I'm 64bit on the latter?

They run fine together - you just need to do the engine swap trick for Reaktor and FM8:

Except you don't even need to rename the old versions; just copy the new versions to the IE folder- the old ones will be overwritten.

That being said, just using the bypass internal engines option works for me- all my Kore sounds open fine without replacing the IE .dlls. YMMV...

Well it is a good idea to back them up so I zip mine first
