Fingerpushers makes a really cool Kontakt library of Virus plucks:
http://www.fingerpushers.com/infected-- ... sizer.html
They've also got an interesting collection of Supersaw samples:
http://www.fingerpushers.com/superstruc ... sizer.html
Then there's a collection of analog stabs sampled into an Akai S1100 and an Ensoniq EPS:
http://www.fingerpushers.com/analog-sta ... dirty.html
Finally, they've got a bunch of free sample sets, including more stabs, an Ensoniq ASR, a Virus sampled through an E-mu E4, and uTonic sampled through an old Casio FZ:
http://www.fingerpushers.com/free-stuff.html
I'm a fan of the Fingerpusher stuff. The sample sets are light and easy to navigate, and he always throws in something interesting to set them apart from other libraries.

Wow ,you really know your SHIT man..(or woman)Blue-eyed Blonde Ape wrote:Diva is "a bit" more expensive for "plucks" haha. I guess You like digital things your hear in a beatport crap galore most likely, when diva is out of place in that case, because massive, sylenth, shitty drum samples and brainless compression rules the charts.robindrieghe wrote:i like the pluck sounds in jp6k but its a bit a one trick pony right...
"Brainless compression = Hi, guys where can I get some presets for vocals and drums for this compressor ?"
Anyway Diva is one of the best vstis, but if you're into that shitty sound then go with jp6k, and spare the rest money to waste it on some dumbass girlfriend, brainlessly dancing to that crap.
Crap is the fad.
The price point is so f***ing different that I've no f99999ing clue why wtf you even ask it, unless you want jp6k and just want some confirmation that it's ok.
It's ok brother
What's up "producers", it does hurt, doesn't it ?
well.....I don't care for real omg he don't care
peace
Diva can do any plucks you want, but before you click play let me warn you that the sh** that comes out of my head is way different to your mere mortal copy paste crap.

I don't know, I'm hanging above the earth in an abandoned spaceship, my parents left me there since I was a kidTricky-Loops wrote:Which planet did you come from?Blue-eyed Blonde Ape wrote:I'm not quite apt with you earth dwellers.
About seriousness
well what does a song title and sounds in it say to you ? "Monkey's first love was a Geiger counter" The whole video is some radioactive mess with pumping heart. I like it though.
To me it associated with that avarage crap on a radio and difference I was having in mind are it's "brave"haha childish arrangement, selection of sounds, because "producers" in question they try to squeeze everything they can out of their crap without admitting or realizing that they produce worst crap on a planet earth, while I took that crap and twisted it in an "arty" way, a way it was amusing for me. hahha and that's 30 minutes worth of work (including making presets from scratch) for presets demo, suicidal demo that is, since I can allow myself this sort of embarkments on suicidal missions.
90's yeah That's because I'm at odds with "stereo", btw that's another thing which annoys in that beatport crap, is that f***ing stereo all lover the place, as if they're trying to make up for a lack of ability to produce properly with "stereo spreading", there's plenty of 80's tracks which make a good use of stereo, but not these "producers" taught by insane amount of video tutorials and former toilet cleaners.
Definition of crap:
I've found it on forums here, some guy was asking how to master his song "insanely loud and clean" like example below
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xeQ31jQNAVI
Back again to some other important matters
jeez guys, help me out here, should I buy a shed or a house ?
no, it can't be both, a house with a shed is a house with one shed to much
No it doesn't matter that the price point difference is so f****ing insane, because it can't be both, I'm a producers I know what I want, and can make my judgment with my ears, though no, I'm too good charts topping producer to waste my ears on such a judgement, so I shall ask you guys to decide for me
I've what ? almost 8 years of a production "experience" ? so I'm clearly still not ready for such decisions on my own.
jeez, let me think about..., mmmm... I think you should go with a house, you can build a shed later, a house comes with a lot of more "tricks inside a box"
though if you only need a shed then go with a shed, it serves it's shed porpoises very well.
Good morning Vietnam

It's pretty good. It's still not too different from the copy-paste stuff you complain about. Anyway, I loved the Vangelis homage, you got some great sounds out of DCAM. DCAM is still one of my favorites for analog pads.Blue-eyed Blonde Ape wrote:Then put them in a tune, hahaha

When saying copy paste I refer to a bunch of things thrown in together and carelessly squashed and most importantly without any style whatsoever just another generic sausage sounding indistinguishable from other sausages as if it was copy/pasted. E.g, I love the way Benassi (most likely his uncle though) squashes all possible live out of tracks, because he does it with a style/technique, that's why I don't care if it's squashed or not because I feel the style.
Yeah for pads DCAM has that vintage feel to it, and cypher sounds very "electronically alive" great for various keys.
Today I've been drinking with a one of Microsoft employees and persuaded him with a few shots of whiskey to participate in my Christmas photo shoot
