I've got everything from the Warsaw demos to The Other Two, to Bad Lieutenant, and more. I've always loved the blend of electronic and guitars with Hooky's unique treatment on the bass. They have a unique sound that comes from each member's unique sound, that many have tried to emulate (Lightning Seeds, KonKan, etc.) but no one has ever been able to do it well. No rips on the Lightning Seeds or KonKan or the others, but there really has been only ONE New Order.
C/R, dongles & other intrusive copy protection equals less-control & more-hassle for consumers. Company gone-can’t authorize. Limit to # of auths. Instability-ie PACE. Forced internet auths. THE HONEST ARE HASSLED, NOT THE PIRATES.
a couple of years back when they did the joy division tribute tour, my mates son was filling in on drums for them, i had the pleasure of being sat upstairs while they where rehearsing in the basement he also did drums for that "freebase" project that hooky and mani put together, heard a few of their rehearsals too.
