My smps has got short circuited.. can it be replaced with an old one? My pc has AMD 64 processor and Asus motherboard. thr was some shotrt ckt in smps n this burning smell n the pc shut down itself . should i try to restart it or wld it may cause harm to motherboard? also i have an old pc with p3 processor but its smps luks diff thn my new one. can i replace d new one with the old 1 ,or it wldnt be compatible?_________________________
