Ran across this freebie and wanted to pass it on. I downloaded the app and registered it without incident. Works well as a plugin or standalone. It has quite a few features built in like effects and the ability to use samples or the built in synth.

Never heard of them before but it seems like a nice offering.

The plugin version looks a lot more interesting than the iOS version, I'll have to check it out. Thanks for pointing it out.
**edit** why.... oh why... do I need a license for a free product? yes it is a minor quibble, but it seems a bit unnecessary.

Strange, Wejaam is freeware but Imea Groove isn't...

Translated with bingThe team of IMEA, insiders through the virtual drummer "Drum Groove" known, brings a six-lane drum machine for free now with Weejam designers at the start. The plugin includes an own effect suite with optional, can use but also third-party effects. Secure access and free license!

You forgot to mention the free effects also available from the same offer:
► IMEA effect Suite: www.imea-studio.com/
Also, Bing seems to have a variety of idiosyncrasies with its translation software - Spanish and French translations are usually more incorrect than accurate, so I have a feeling the same goes with its German translation. YMMV.

Which kind of explains my initial thought.xNiMiNx wrote:I decided to throw a transparent layer of the GUI's on top of eachother and theyre almost identical?
Kidding aside though, has anyone else (i.e. except the threadstarter) managed to download this? Just curious, because no matter what link i click on that site, all i am getting is blank white pages...

But where is the included Synth?

Maybe a miscommunication on my part. What I meant was that the drum machine uses synthesis as well as samples. I didn't mean to imply there was another standalone synth. So the Designer is where the synthesis and sample-playback take place.Numanoid wrote:Yes, installing it brings out 9 new VSTs in my folder, 1 Designer and 8 FX'shueynym wrote:You forgot to mention the free effects also available from the same offer:

And for whoever may run across this thread and can't find the editor for the synth...
Look across the rows of the sequencer and look all the way to the right. Click the "Edit" button. Now in the box above where you would change the drumkits there should be a highlighted box that says"Synth". Click the "Edit" button below that to access the synth's editor.

When i click download (at least for PC), a popup overlay comes on the site asking for email / password account creation or login, once you fill that in, it leads to the download page.
Download page also has instructions on registering it at the bottom.

Sounds pretty generous, but I'm just not going to give out my email for some spam list potential. There's always some if, ands, or buts.
