I'll have to try some of these brain entrainers out, that new SE one wouldn't complete its download over here.

Why does Firefox have entrainers underlined, I'm pretty sure that's the actual word.

thanks but only possible due to all the contributors and collectors (to this thread in particular)

err....4 years and 4 days exactly so far - well, since I got on the internet. Quite a few sites have gone in the last 12 months so some links will lead to dead ends, let us know if you find new links.

same way we have missed everyone else that we don't know about.............err we don't know about them.

In layman's terms here's my take.

I look for these every couple of months as the search engines are constantly checking what you are looking for and refining the results for the populist but individual outcome, thereby omitting the rarely visited sites. But Bing starts afresh after 30 days as long as I don't use vst, plugin, synthedit, etc in any search in 30 days and just occasionally on the 35th page or so I might find something unknown or obscure.

As I will be exiting the internet with my XP computer come April 8th, I will install Babylon search and see what that can come up with from March. It is meant to be pretty good at translating and searching middle eastern and far eastern sites and might flush something out.

However to further the cause, if everyone reading this does an occasional search, the results will be different as they are individually tailored depending on what you search as an individual search for. Google is useless for obscure stuff, and when people say; "just google it, it is the sixth one down" they are talking only about their individually organized search. It never matches mine.

So we need a list of search phrases and ideas. I will put an open sheet up on EditGrid, which will allow you to put ideas up, translations etc to increase the chances of a catch.

http://www.editgrid.com/user/angeloverhead/seachphrases missed the r out of search, oh well. The page autosaves every 20 seconds or so

Hi Bob added a search term to the list (my first vst made with) cos everybody wants to tell you about the first vst they made, and found

https://app.box.com/shared/ojoj4rqlo7 (Futura)
https://app.box.com/shared/qbahkd35mi (Wurler)
https://app.box.com/shared/rtnqz2ijkp (Quark)
https://app.box.com/shared/tv5sdigydn (Asymilater)
https://app.box.com/shared/lg64xfc96r (Just Bits)
https://app.box.com/shared/hezjd5ayfr (Maxus+)
https://app.box.com/shared/2s1xii1kon (Logana)
https://app.box.com/shared/mv3rcm86dq (Logana Old)
https://app.box.com/shared/uq9xz7pkda (Reality)

OK so logana and reality are fairly new but with the site being down its good to know the links still work for anyone who doesn't have them yet.
