the worst thing about voyager was sigue sigue sputnik neelix and his "why doesn't anybody love me?" sad face. he even had his own special farewell episode right at the end where the rest of the crew stood in the halls as he walked through like the queen of England. i was hoping tuvok would kick him in the balls from behind as he reached the door but that wouldn't have been very logical now would it?

The trick is knowing where they are:

I guess old Trek didn't go with all that PC stuff.

I quite liked it. Neelix always reminded me of a slightly less fluffy Ewok, but apart from that most of the characters were OK. I thought Janeway had a bit of the Hepburn about her, especially her voice. Would've been great on a 0800 makemecum number.

How do you even know he had them? And what does a Vulcan penis look like? If Vulcans have green blood based on copper, how did Spock's mom carry him to term? Don't you think baldness and blindness would have been cured by the 2600's? Where are all the droids? Did they turn into Cylons and the human race banished them?
I have so many questions...

I think we just say 'Tech' and let the scientific adviser come up with something (as the writers supposedly did... :))

I liked Neelix, as annoying alien sidekicks go he was pretty solid, acted with conviction. In fact, one episode where he had to deal with the genocide of his race was superb, total respect to the guys acting on that one.

The biggest problem with Voyager was the lame premise: They're lost, yet they keep running across all these Federation outposts, which presumably know where they are and are in contact with the Federation since they get supplies. There was absolutely nothing sensible the writers could do with that. It crippled the entire show.
