I just bought the BFD Zildjian V2, was impressed with the nice sampling of the library and quickly made a crazy piece to test the sounds: Izakaya of Ithaka. No other effects used than reverb, the Z. sounds are original. H.

Cool track! Now regretting I didn't pull the trigger on v2 while the sale was on. Well there's always next year...

Your snare sounds a little stifled. Almost like it's being filtered through a telephone. Is that your intention? Or is there a little too much high end cutting?

Thanks for commenting. The snare is heavily gated to allow the symbals come out better. H.
