I've been torturing my self well kinda, about this sound. I can not find it anywhere. I don't even know how to describe what sound it is. If you guys can find it I would be so happy and give you an internet cookie. :)
Like the title says it's the "drop" sound at the very beginning of the song. Right before the piano riff starts.

I think u mean that high pitched so much glided. It´s a sine with tons of glide.

i didnt mean to sound offensive. but yeah layering and a couple of samples should do the trick.

Sounds like a sample of a group stomp to me.

Here's the closest I came to it. Any advice on how to improve it is very welcome.
I used 2 of the same stomp sample. one is lowpass filtered and one is compressed the shit out of it. And 2 claps that's "loose" and also lowpass filtered. And voila

That's pretty good, definitely useable.

I think the claps need to be more spaced out, and 'smoother' in texture. Sounds like there's maybe 3-5 claps layered and panned in different directions before the bassy thud.

I don't think you'll ever get something like this identical, but you could get something the same. Zedd might've just used something from a sample pack, or if he made it then he wouldn't even necessarily be able to perfectly re-create it himself.

If you've got several separate clap samples, move some before the beat and put them one after another so they hit at different times. You can have some before the beat, and some on the beat, maybe pan some left and some right, whatever sounds good.

There's no definitive method, just do whatever sounds good to you and works for what you want it for :)
