When the task you wish to perform is unusual enough that it requires a specialist tool that does not already exist, the onus is not on the universe to provide you with that tool.

The onus is on you, to either change the way you approach the task (ie use a host with step input) or to have the tool created, either by yourself or some other party.

Ive given you working solutions for both those approaches. Your failure to invest in either is your failure, your responsibility. You should do your work.

Click with mouse on the note, hold the button. Drag note while it snaps on the grid, let go of the button.
Takes less time to actually DO THE WORK than to moan about it in public.

That's just a restatement of the problem. Not only do you know that I already know what the problem is, you also know that Ive given you two solutions for it.

You also know that I didnt ask 'what problem do you expect a solution for'. The question was 'what understanding do you expect when you wont use either of the two solutions you've been given'.

You're either lazy, or you dont want a solution.
